Albanese said, in a press conference in the Spanish capital, Madrid: “Israel has done a number of things that are largely illegal... and international humanitarian law must be respected to protect civilians, prisoners of war, the sick and the wounded.”
She pointed out that what happened in the Gaza Strip over the course of more than 100 days was violent bombing, explaining that in the first two weeks of the war, 6 bombs were used weekly, each weighing about a ton.
It warned that the Israeli entity disabled most hospitals and caused the closure of a large number of them by bombing or seizing them.
She continued: The number of children whose limbs are amputated every day is shocking. During the first two months of this war, a thousand children had their limbs amputated without anesthesia. It is horrific. Nothing justifies what Israel is doing.
