Award-winning American actor Giancarlo Esposito, widely known for his iconic roles in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, has embraced Islam during his stay in Saudi Arabia while filming the upcoming movie Seven Dogs. 

The news was first shared by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. Al-Sheikh said Esposito recited the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith, and joined members of the production team in prayer at a mosque while filming in the Kingdom.

According to reports published by the Saudi Gazette, Esposito embraced Islam while staying in the Kingdom for the production of Seven Dogs, one of Saudi Arabia's largest film projects to date. The movie stars several internationally renowned actors and is being filmed with substantial support from the Kingdom's rapidly expanding entertainment sector.

Arabic media outlets, including Okaz and other regional publications, also carried the story, attributing the news to Turki Al-Sheikh's announcement and the accompanying footage. Reports indicate that after reciting the Shahada, Esposito participated in congregational prayer alongside members of the production team at a mosque in Saudi Arabia.
