Abdul Vahid K Hudawi is Head and Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic History, MES Mampad College (Autonomous). He has completed BA in Sociology, MA in Islamic Studies and Hudawi course from Darul Huda Islamic University. His research interest includes socio-political developments of Muslim societies, minority politics and the history of learning. He is a member of the Academic Council, University of Calicut and has worked as a Member of the Board of Studies in Calicut University and MES Mampad College. He also completed a Minor Research Program for UGC (project title: Minority politics: a reinterpretation by Kerala Muslims and role of Ulema in it). Achievement: FLAIR National Internship (Government of Kerala)
